Today was field day and the boys were sooooo excited. They had 3 races each. The first race is a 3 legged race in which they are tied to a partner. This race is quite funny to watch preschoolers do! Next is a sack race where they jump in pillowcases. And lastly, a running race. We found out that Kason
was quite the track star and got first in his running race. He also got a late
start in his sack race but still won by a landslide! Jamison got second in running and 3 legged race- his partner was Sebastian. Then he got 1st by a leap in the sack race. We have the sack race on video and it is so funny! He was in second place, but at the very last minute he leaped with his whole body over the finish line to make first place!! He must've wanted a blue ribbon BAD!! Last year he got all yellow ribbons (3rd place) and since they only race 3 at a time Jamison soon figured out that 3rd was just a nice way of saying he got last.Posted by Jarmeg Family at 11:24 AM 9 comments

It's a family affair here in Dublan- Ward Basketball! They have a primary league, young women young men, Men, and Relief Society. Wow, I am suprised how much I have enjoyed playing, mainly for the exercise and the one hour break of not having to hold Tanner. I am definitely not the point maker on the team but I have to say I am probably the fastest and pretty good defensively, (not to brag or anything!).... The primary also plays and the boys are having a
blast. Here are some pictures of the fun and yes, I also have a new permanent accessory- Tanner will not let me put him down. I am not kidding, he screams the whole time I am playing

It's official, Tanner started crawling this weekend. The funny thing is he is only provoked to crawl if there is food around. If he sees a plate or bowl of food he crawls right to it. Otherwise he is content to stay in the same place. Funny boy!

I am so excited because Kason finally has a friend that is a boy and that is his age. In our ward and among the american community there are all girls. He is friends with them but they have gotten to the age where there interests are different. So, after preschool he asked to invite Luis over. So I asked his mom in my best spanish and explained where we lived and she brought him over. Luis doesn't speak much english and Kason doesn't speak much spanish, but they somehow communicated and had a great time!

8:00 p.m. is a magical time in my household. It is when the yells and screams subside and peace and quiet come around. It is when my tired arms get to rest and my aching feet get put up! Sleeping children are always so much cuter and angelic like too. You forget about the tantrums and crying and dirty face when you see that peaceful angelic sleeping child. Ryder loves to sleep with stuffed animals. At first it was a bear, now it has turned into 3 elephants, diego and sometimes a dog. And yes, he still takes a bottle and I think he is the only 2 year old child that asks their mom if they can go night night.. Yesterday he came into my room and said, mom.. baba go night night, please mom, please! I said, SURE!!! Tanner is such a handful, he must be held most of the time, so when I finally put him to bed I feel like a free woman!! He looks so angelic asleep though and I love to just hold him for a little longer and just watch his face. Good night , sweet dreams.......
